ReACH Center Population Health Postdoctoral Fellowship

With funding from the UT System Collaborative on Population Health Innovation and Improvement and the Center for Research to Advance Community Health (ReACH), UT Health San Antonio is creating a new 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in population health. Eligible applicants are individuals who have received a doctoral degree and who are pursuing additional research and training in order to have better skills to pursue a career in academia, research or any other field.  For more information click here.

Christopher R. Frei, PharmD, MS, BCPS, FCCP is an Assistant Professor and Division Head of the Pharmacotherapy Division in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin and a Director of the Pharmacotherapy Education and Research Center (PERC) in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Frei has been a principal investigator/co-investigator for 16 studies supported by NIH, professional societies, and the pharmaceutical industry. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers.

Research Interests: 

Emerging antibiotic resistance among Gram-positive bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus. Comparative-effectiveness, patient centered outcomes research, translational science, pharmacoepidemiology, outcomes research.
